Welcome to Our Practice

St James Health Centre has a century-old history as the oldest surgery in Liverpool City Centre. Our NHS GP practice is committed to providing the highest quality of medical care to the Liverpool community.

Our healthcare services are delivered by four experienced GPs: Dr Francisco Lopez, Dr Jennifer Smith, Dr Robina Ghosh, and Dr Nigel Chatwin. Our Senior Nurse Practitioner is Trish Jones.

We welcome new NHS patients, including students living within Liverpool City Centre and some surrounding areas. We also accept Out of Area patients who are unable to attend their local GP.

Appointments and Prescriptions

We offer multiple ways to access our services for your convenience. You can book appointments online through our eConsult system or by calling our practice number.

For non-urgent matters, we recommend using eConsultation. Your query will be triaged by a clinician, and you will be contacted by text or phone with a management plan.

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered through our online services or in person at the practice. For medical emergencies, please dial 999.
